Jeff Roodhouse – Principal Recruiter / Founder
I was born in Green Bay, WI and was raised in Washington state, specifically Bellevue. Our family (6 of us) moved to Washington to follow my dad’s business dreams of starting his own company, we are very proud of him! I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and have stayed close to our family home, I’ve lived in Seattle (Go Dawgs!), Kirkland, Issaquah, and Sammamish, where my wife and I live now. I worked for a tech startup in the mid/late 90’s as a Project Manager and made my way into technical recruiting in 2000. Aside from working for a sales & marketing company for some time after 9/11, I’ve enjoyed building out engineering teams for technology companies for nearly 20 years.
With the recent surge in remote work and distributed engineering teams, I've extended my reach to support companies nationwide. I enjoy assisting companies of all sizes, from Series A, B, and C funding rounds, to non-profits, and publicly traded companies. I have a daily passion for delivering a personalized experience for both my client companies (hiring managers and interview team) as well as for the candidates I’m representing, with the end goal of creating a great fit for both sides. My core experience lies in software engineering and product development recruiting.

Contract hiring provides companies with the flexibility to engage skilled engineers on a temporary basis. Contracting can be a great option if you have projects with specific timelines or positions requiring specialized skills that may not warrant hiring a full-time employee.

For contract to hire opportunities, this can be a great way for you hire someone and evaluate their performance on the job before making a long-term commitment, while candidates get a chance to assess if the company’s culture and role are the right fit for them.
